At the end of Trivial Tease, she said to me…

“Sometimes as you get older you feel more closed off. Its not exactly a sadness. Its more of a numbness. But after this (Trivial Tease) I feel suddenly more awake on in the inside. I wouldn’t normally come to something like this, but I’m so glad we did. It’s just made me feel alive again. It was fabulous.”

A little burlesque can go a long way- Bamboozle inspires Emily Small in Sydney community development project
Emily Small saw Bamboozle's U.S.Oh! Show in early 2017. She was so inspired by the show and its “strong female characters” that she went on to create her own community project: “I was blown away by the strong female roles, atmosphere and ascetics of this Burlesque show. I saw the potential Burlesque has to make a strong statement....I wanted to give isolated young women a chance to be visible, to express themselves and feel empowered"
